Peace of Mind When the Vehicle Is Out of Sight

Evoca Guardian for Your Parked Vehicle

Arm Evoca Guardian and you get an alert on your phone if the tracker reports that your parked vehicle moved or the ignition came on. You see the location on the map and can prepare a link with a PDF for the police.

Family Vehicle

Share the vehicle with up to 3 family members. They see where the vehicle is and when it arrived, and every location view is logged.

Company Vehicles

Every trip is recorded automatically. You see several vehicles on one map and have the mileage on record.

Looking After Your Vehicle

When the vehicle reports a fault code or a service is coming up, you get an alert. In the app you also follow the battery, fuel and engine temperature, as far as the vehicle reports them.

Three Steps, No Tools

  1. Find the OBD II Port

In most vehicles it is under the steering wheel, left of centre, within reach. The device does not need to be connected to the battery.

  2. Plug In EVOCA-1

Plug it in with the engine off. The SIM card is already inside, so it connects to the mobile network on its own. Start the car and drive for a few minutes so the tracker sends its first signal.

  3. Confirm the Vehicle and Subscribe to Tracking

In the Evoca app, tap Start, turn the ignition on for about 10 seconds and switch it off within 3 minutes. Then subscribe to tracking for €7.90/month for this vehicle, no commitment.

Want the Adapter Out of Sight? Hide It Behind the Dashboard.

The kit also includes a Y cable. Plug it into the OBD II port and hide EVOCA-1 behind the dashboard trim; the other end of the cable stays a free OBD II port. A mechanic or a diagnostic tool can use the port as before, and the adapter stays out of sight.

What Else Your Vehicle Tells You

Besides the location, EVOCA-1 reads what the vehicle reports through the OBD II port and alerts you when something changes. Everything below is included in the €7.90/month subscription per vehicle, at no extra cost.

Service and Faults

  • How many kilometres are left until the next service, as calculated by the vehicle. When the service is coming up, you get an alert with a link to workshops where you can book an appointment online. if the vehicle reports it
  • For a fault code you see for how many kilometres and how long the engine light has been on, and how many kilometres have passed since the codes were last cleared. if the vehicle reports it
  • When you share the codes with a mechanic, they see this data along with them.

Battery and Fuel

  • If the battery voltage drops noticeably while the vehicle is parked, you get an alert, even if it is still above the low-voltage limit.
  • For electric and hybrid vehicles: battery charge, health and temperature. if the vehicle reports it
  • A refuelling log: when and how much you refuelled, and where, if the position was known. if the vehicle reports it
  • If there is noticeably less fuel in the tank at the next start than when you parked, you get an alert. if the vehicle reports it

Security

  • On a possible impact, the tracker saves the acceleration curve and the vehicle speed for about 10 seconds before and after the event. You see the chart with the alert and can show it to a mechanic.
  • With every such alert you also see how many possible impacts the tracker has recorded for this vehicle in the last 12 months.
  • When you follow a stolen vehicle through Evoca Guardian, the tracker reports its position every 10 seconds for 10 minutes. You can extend this or switch back to normal reporting.

Trips and the Tracker

  • For trips not marked private you see harsh acceleration and braking, sharp turns and idling time. For the vehicle you also see how many such manoeuvres there were per 100 km.
  • Mobile signal strength and the tracker battery, so you can see whether the tracker reports regularly.

Data marked “if the vehicle reports it” is sent only by some models.

What Will EVOCA-1 Read from Your Vehicle?

Tracking works in most vehicles with an OBD II socket. In the EU, petrol cars have one from 2001 and diesel cars from 2004. Which data is read from the vehicle depends on the model. Write to us at info@evoca.app and we will tell you what applies to your model.

Always Works

  • Live vehicle location
  • Trip history and routes driven
  • Evoca Guardian alerts on movement and ignition

Why Not a Hardwired Tracker or a Bluetooth Tag?

A hardwired tracker needs a visit to a mechanic and work on the vehicle's electrics. A Bluetooth tag reports its location only through phones nearby and cannot tell whether the engine is running. EVOCA-1 has its own SIM card and reads data straight from the vehicle.
